Originally
'Coal Face Shearer' joint section bolts & nuts were
manually tightened using flogging spanners and sledge
hammers, this dangerous and laborious method of
bolt tensioning always resulted in poor uneven bolt
loading across the joints of the shearer. Tentec
'Mining Nuts' are a powerful and compact hydraulic
bolt tensioning device. Used in conjunction with
simple, robust hand operated hydraulic pump units
to give the operator a known, accurate bolting force
throughout the complete 'Coal Face Shearer' joint
section bolts & nuts. Tentec Bolting Solutions have
solved most of the known bolted joint failures at
the coal face. Our products have improved maintenance
efficiency and resulted in maximising profit.
